I'll admit I'm going through a boring spell with my painting. A trip to the beach one evening last week provided a little inspiration to step out of the box. This painting is approximately 12" x 32", oil on canvas.
You know I am fond of waves, Steve, and maybe this appeals to my sentiment more than other people, but this piece is a gem for you. Simple, effective and beautiful. Sometimes, as you know, you can say the most with the least amount of information. You can capture a place, or the feeling of a place, with minimal visual dialogue. That is what I see with this piece.
